For years, the vision for a local Christian bookstore rested quietly on Kim’s heart as an idea she hoped someone else might take up because she felt unqualified. The doubt the enemy plants is real, whispering you’re not good enough. But God’s persistency grew louder and more frequent, reminders that this calling was hers to embrace.

One night, Kim said to God, “Okay, God... let’s talk. When You want me to do something, You NEVER FAIL to open doors and make the path clear.” And He did. Almost immediately, what was once a distant idea moved swiftly to concept, then plan, and within hours, inventory began to take shape. It was nothing short of miraculous.

Within weeks, Renew † Restore held a soft launch, and in less than two months, it officially opened to the public. The first scheduled events are already on the calendar—pop-ups where the ministry connects with the community. The goal is to open a brick-and-mortar store, but with a commitment to wise stewardship—without debt, guided by Proverbs 22:7 and Romans 13:8. This journey will unfold in phases, with each milestone joyfully shared as it approaches. For now, guests can shop online and visit at pop-up events.

Through it all, Kim has trusted God’s guidance. He makes the paths straight, and she is grateful to walk this journey with Him, serving families and honoring His provision every step of the way. How quickly she was humbled with a reminder that He doesn’t call the qualified… He qualifies the called, and for years He has been shaping her for such.
